MX For Children Announces the 4th Annual MX Ride for
Children
Seattle, Wa
MX For Children is pleased to announce the 4th Annual MX
Ride for Children, to be held August 3rd, 2008 at
Pacific Raceways in Auburn, Washington.
This will be a fun practice day at one of the top
motocross tracks in the state, and will include giveaways
(including an XBOX360) and professional photography by
legendary MX photographer Rex Backman. All participants
will receive lunch, and riders will receive event t-shirts.
Additional event t-shirts will be available the day of the
event. Last year we had over one hundred riders, so make
sure you visit
www.mxforchildren.org
and pre-register for the event to secure your spot!
In addition, we are collecting pledges, with the top
fundraiser in both the 13 and over and 12 and under classes
receiving a $500 gift card to a local Washington dealer.
Download your pledge form from our site and start collecting
those pledges!
There will be a gate fee of $10 to get in to the
facility, with riders paying an additional $50 to ride.
Remember, not only do you get a full day of riding, but you
will receive an event t-shirt, as well as lunch and the
chance to win a door prize!
For the first time ever, MX For Children will welcome
quads to the MX Ride for Children!
Pacific Raceways is under new management and the track
has been revamped for better safety and more fun! They have
also added a pee wee track for the little riders, to give
them a place that is suited for smaller bikes and is away
form the larger, more powerful bikes. Camping is available
at Pacific Raceways for a small fee, so bring the family and
make it weekend out of it!
MX For Children has raised over $134,000 to date this
year for health care costs for underprivileged children and
the research of hydrocephalus, the number one cause of
pediatric brain surgery. Our goal of $150,000 for the year
is in sight, and we are pushing hard to make it happen!
